Visual Studio shows Dots for spaces

Ctrl-R followed by Ctrl-W will enable/disable the feature in Visual studio which will show dots for spaces, very annoying.

Thanks thekua for the solution http://www.thekua.com/atwork/2007/03/21/visual-studio-2005-annoyances/

My god thank you...I hate when I mistakenly bash the keyboard and all of a sudden I've enabled some crazy option that I can't figure out how to stop.

Haha. All of the sudden I had these special characters displayed all over my code as well. HORRIBLE. I couldn't focus anymore! I have been looking for about 15 minutes to find out what happened and how to restore to its original state of text viewing, but I could not find anything. So stupid. Then I found this page to find out I wasn't the only one. I'm saved! Thanks :D
